Croydon Whitgift Centre: Fashion Show

We were hired by Toolbox Marketing to put together an edgy fashion show for the Whitgift Centre in Croydon.

We were briefed to supply the whole show package consisting of , stylist, choreographer, models / performers, music, lighting and staging etc

We sat down with our production company to design the set for this fashion show taking into account elements highlighted in the briefing meeting. So we needed to consider the following -  incorporating plasma screens, having a low level stage, having something a little more edgy in terms of stage design, dressing area etc

Our choreographer broke the show into 11 mini sections so each retailer would get their own slot within the show. We then chose tracks to match the brand ethos and then worked out performers / models be routine.

Our stylist liaised with all the chosen retailers to get the relevant and right sized clothing and stored it all ready for show day.

We had a 2 day rehearsal period to learn all the choreography.

On the day itself we had an overnight set build and then a fitting first thing with both model / performers and our stylist and our dressers. Then we had shows at 11, 12, 1, 2 and 3.

Client, retailers were very happy with the show as were the crowds on the day.
